The Ran route is random as hell it shares nothing in common with True History and even the story feels a bit tacked on though it does give you a lot of freedom/time and I managed to conquer all the houses except Tanegashima which was swallowed up by Mouri early. The ending felt especially weird (NTR-ish?) it feels like she should have gone with Soun. Trying to start the Kenshin route but that bitch Yukihime had to screw things up (it sucks that relationship item drops are so random). Starting with the One Eyed House is not as awesome as I thought it would be as searching/negotiating to start the game is a pain and managing the national power is tough though having Omachi kinda makes up for it. On another tangent couldn’t Alicesoft have made it so that you could change captains after each dungeon floor? Switching randomly till you find the captain you want well… sucks balls.

GAH I managed to wreck the bikini within the first day. I initially took it off and put it on yesterday just fine but before I went to bed I decided to repeat the process and got lazy just trying to just pull it over the breasts which are as the Paul Wall song goes ’sittin sideways’ and it broke off. Oh well at least the cast off/on process is a lot easier now and amusingly enough the bikini now stays on thanks to her nipples (yup highbrow stuff).
Minuses: the paint job is slightly red, the facial detail is adequate but not great, the cast-off and subsequent on process is quite difficult - initially taking the head off is pretty hard and as detailed above putting the bikini on can be a pain in the ass (though not anymore for my one), the seamline around the neck doesn’t look that great from certain angles
Pluses: as mentioned before tanlines, huge breasts and porori if you are such maniacally inclined you should have bought one already, the body sculpt is excellent – in my (maniac) mind the positives far out way the negatives

January 22, 2010 by hiero_yoOrchid Seed to release an alternate color Amaha Masane for WonFes 2010 (Feb 7) – it has white skin as opposed to the original tanlines and a black see-through-ish bikini (that changes color?) – the normal version of the figure will be shipping out to stores 1/25 – I have to say the abs look even better than in the sample (thank you Ishiyama-san)
Zepy with the Best eromanga of 2009 as voted by 2ch & 2009 sales ranking from Akiba Toranoana A – kind of surprised Yamatogawa didn’t place a bit higher maybe having two releases in the same year was a bad thing? I didn’t think Maid Yome was that impressive but given the popularity of his Mon-han books I guess it was a given he’d do well. Tsundero sure is strong.
