Our main character is being chased by the police for a crime that he would lead you to believe he never did (but then why didn’t he stop). Perhaps he was being chased down for dangerous driving as he repeatedly refuses to look ahead when driving, instead choosing yell loudly at no one in particular. This disdain for looking at the road when driving eventually causes an accident. Thankfully he avoids plunging to his death when his car is hit by a bolt of lightning which opens up the space time fabric. After a weird pychadelic time travel (lots of neon lights) scene he, his car and (presumbably) his cat crash into a police car (a crash was bound to happen).
Scientist talks about timeslip.
Man love.
Somehow his car is still in working condition and he drives off. Fuck he crashes again.

URASHIMAN THE FUTURE POLICE (the english voice overs are great)
Pale man wants Urashiman (I’m assuming this is the main characters name) he has an assistant who reminds me of Tattoo from Fantasy Island.
Explosion! Urashima escapes. Police and Necrime (Pale man group) chases.
Run into a church. Old man (think Yeltsin’s face plus Gorbachev’s lack of hair) weird narration. Random nun helps. END. What happened to the cat?
The OP (Screw ga MAWARUUU) was terrible but I can’t help but sing along to it. The ED is equally ’80s like but slightly less annoying.
It would seem so.

It looks nice but I’m not willing to jump through the HJ exclusive fire to get it especially given that I know nothing about the series. For those keen maybe Play Asia or BeNippon will stock it.
