Awesome final episode. While it is a gag anime it had its share of drama and sweet scenes (in a romantic sense not the surfer lingo sense). Hopefully there will be a second season if not at least a more economical DVD box release. Or else Korochu♥

Hyakko 13

Hyakko could have used 13 more episodes as it took 11 just to introduce the cast. Whether you enjoy the show or not basically rests on whether you like the cast or not and I liked pretty much everyone – Ayu was a bit grating at times (it’s like someone took Mikuru and removed all of the interesting parts from her). It’s funny Suzu got all that screentime and we still don’t much about her.

Idolmaster – Live for you

I can’t believe there was zero concert footage – I know it came with the game and there is plenty of concert stuff in that still that was pretty cheap of them. Wouldn’t mind a full TV anime series of this. Also needed more Makoto.

Takeda Hiromitsu update

Maken-ki isn’t finishing after all (or maybe I just misread it at the time) but switching from Dragon Age Pure (Bi-monthly) to Monthly Dragon Age. Takeda-san says he’ll try his best to draw eromanga at a bimonthly pace. He has also designed a very awesome dakimakura (18+) for Mandarake – Kanae-chan TsunAhe Dakimakura cover that will be available via mailorder (preorders have opened and it will ship 4/26) and at Mandarake’s COMIC1 booth (4/26). They will also be giving out a deskpad in limited quantities – which must really mean limited as there are only 200 dakimakuras in total.

Nounaka’s latest CG collection complete

Nounaka’s latest CG collection Loli x Shota Generation (ロリxショタ世代) is now complete he is registering with DLsite and Digiket so it should be up soon. It features 20 color pages with text along with 20 non text versions – it is quite disturbing that I can’t tell the lolis and shotas apart without looking at the genitalia especially in the 3rd sample. Uki’s Cencoroll picked up by Aniplex

Uki has announced his scifi animation work Cencoroll has been picked up by Aniplex though the details are still undecided. The trailer looks really awesome and thoughtfully enough there is english under the story page. So check it out. Ryo from supercell will do some of the writing(?) the music. More details at ANN

Sei Shoujo’s Starless (18+) will (supposedly) be coming out in spring

As for the anime front Cross Game should be good. Hoping the Mazinger series will be decent and like everyone else I’ll probably watch K-ON. Also wouldn’t mind watching Higepiyo (assuming it’s ebichu with a mustached-bird) though I doubt anyone will sub it and I’ll watch Queen’s Blade as long it doesn’t take itself to seriously.

I’m glad I didn’t waste my time trying to do a proper spring preview as I’m sure it would’ve been more of: I’d totally watch series x assuming it will be awesome.
